Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
How is this so close? Seriously?! I'll be arriving in NYC at 2:15 Friday morning, I'll get 4ish hours of sleep since I can almost guarantee I will not get any sleep on the train in.
At 7:30 AM, my day starts with a breakfast with GMC and I'm on the go until Sunday, when I heard home. If you see me, please remind me to eat something because the caffeine will cause me to twitch ;)
I'm so incredibly nervous to meet so many great bloggers and e-friends. I won't lie, I'm scared they won't like me once they meet me in person. Shannon gave me a great pep-text earlier today...which I was so grateful for.
I am very very lucky to be going to NYC this year. Make sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram to see the journey!

Y3W| Shipping Off {to} Boston!
Sorry for the lame title (and lame video) but it's a relatively enjoyable song ;)
This weekend, at one point, we're shipping off to Boston...haha. I'm a sucker for any family tradition and I really wanted one that I "created". Before Paige was born, I told Marc how I thought it'd be a cool idea to bring Paige (and any future children) out on a nice day trip on/around their birthday. We started last year by bringing Paige to New England Aquarium and Legal Seafood. That was about all she could handle, but it was enough.
This year? We're hitting the aquarium again. It's kid friendly, the price is right for Paige (free!) And I'm hoping to stop at Boston Commons and bring Paige to see the duckling statues, and also let her run around and get some energy out.
And don't forget to enter my Sweet Stella's giveaway in honor of Paige's birthday!

Y3W| Happy Birthday, Fenway!
As a New England sports fan, Fenway Park holds a special place in history and fans' hearts. It's where our beloved Red Sox have broken our hearts, tested our spirits, and celebrated their accomplishments. Today is Fenway's 100th "Birthday" and it's killing me that we couldn't get to their Open House yesterday to walk the grounds (nor can we afford tickets to today's game).
Fenway is where I was the night before I found out I was pregnant with Paige and we were right across the highway from it on our mini-moon.
Quite the view, huh?
While in Boston on our mini-moon, we spent two amazing games there :)
I was very lucky that in the September after Paige was born, to bring Paige to Fenway in a non-game environment!
I am so glad that plans for other ball parks in Boston have failed. There's something to be said about walking into Fenway Park and watching a game where some of the greatest players have played. I am looking forward to bringing Paige to her first game :)
Happy Birthday, Fenway! Here's to another 100 years and many more memories to enjoy!!

YAY Newlyweds!!
(Our shirts actually said NEWLYWED on the back!)

Yes, we got to go IN the Red Sox clubhouse...it was amazing.
And Paige's shirt says "Little Monstah". I figured it was appropriate given where we were

Y3W| Getting (my) Hair Did
After Valentine's Day, I found a coupon deal for a local salon and spa that I couldn't pass up! It was $35 for cut, color, and style (50% off). Hubby was kind enough to buy it as a belated Valentine's Day gift (since I didn't get one to begin with).
The hair appointment is today! And I'm super nervous but excited at the same time.
I have extremely dark, super thick hair. So I don't want to go too crazy with the color, but I want something a bit different. If you go to my Pinterest board, you'll see the different ideas I've been looking at (and yes, they're all pretty much a shade of auburn).
Just for reference, here's a self pic of me and my hair:
And old one, but you can see the color really well.
Let me know what you think!

Y3W|Need Your Help!
So this is a cop-out Y3W (it's all I've got right now)
But I'm in need of your help! We had Paige's ears pierced when she was just over 7 months old - she's had them in for about a year now. One day, I noticed the piercing earring missing so my mom bought her another set of piercing earrings for Christmas.
Well, that pair went missing. So I bought a bunch of cheap pairs from Claire's for Christmas. And Paige has figured out how to take them out.
So I need your recommendations - what earrings do you have in your little girl's ear that they can't take out?

Y3W|My Poor Baby!
My poor Paige was in her booster seat when the chair broke and she fell to the hardwood floor. We did bring her to the ER just to make sure she was OK (she did have a minor concussion).
I was planning a blog post on how horrible the experience was at the ER, but right now I am still frustrated with it and every time I write about it, I start rambling and it doesn't look pretty.

Y3W|18 Month Stats!
I didn't grab a picture *surprisingly*. But Peanut turned 18 month LAST MONTH and due to some mix-up, her 18 month well visit was scheduled for after she turned 19 months...thankfully, my doctor fixed that and saw her this past Wednesday.
I knew Paige would still be tall, but she's feeling a bit more solid lately.
Height: 33" 90th percentile
Weight: 24 lbs, 10 oz 60th percentile
Head: 18 inches 90th percentile
She's right on track with her developments - we have quite the vocab now.

Not a bad vocabulary for only 18 months! (The * after All Done - I don't consider that to be her first sentence. Maybe I'm weird, but she only says All Done when she's done eating and wants out of her high chair)
Her doctor and I discussed a questionnaire I had to fill out (it was pretty much checking to see if she has signs of autism or if there was any cause for concern). There wasn't, but I was so...unsure, filling out that survey. I felt like it was pressure to get the questions right. Thankfully, Paige's doctor is the same one I saw and is very familiar with my family's history so she just went over everything.
We are officially on our way to once-a-year well visits (we have another well visit at 2 years, then yearly after that) and NO SHOTS til she's 5. That's 3 1/2 years of sweet, quite, uneventful physicals - unless we bring her in for torture in the winter for a flu shot.
Hard to believe the Peanut is 18 months. It's hard to remember life pre-Peanut, even pre-pregnancy. And here we are. I'm going to have to compile her pictures to see how she's grown. But that's another post for another day.

Y3W|How Many Days?!
Christmas is slowly creeping up on us...I mean, today's December 2nd. Seriously. December. Where did the time go? I mean, it's almost Christmas. It's almost 2012. They say having kids makes time fly, which I never really believed...but they weren't kidding.
Hubbs chose a few tags off the tree at his work - the kids at Children's Hospital in Boston write down their wishes. He chose a few kids, all around Paige's age. It made him so sad to think of kids so small wanting something while in the hospital. I'm excited to go shopping to help bring these kids a little bit of Christmas joy.
We're slowly working on Paige's Christmas gifts...we've bought two. A kitchen and a shopping cart with boxes of "food". The game plan is an art easel, some small stocking stuffers and a trip to Carter's next weekend. This weekend we have a Christmas party at hubb's work and some time at the in-laws.
Hope you all are enjoying the craziness of December and the holidays!

Y3W| What A Day
No pictures today, but I started with a very "eh" morning...to the point my Y3W post was ALMOST going to be "I've Got Nothing". Then I left for work.
Rear-ended on my way there. What a joy. Thankfully, Paige was not with me. Nor is there any visible damage to the car (minus a few scratches). But my back? Well, that's a different story. My work was awesome enough to find coverage for me, so the hubbs and I headed to Urgent Care. Lower back strains with spasms. And of course that is slowly creeping itself up to my mid-back, shoulders. Holding Paige tomorrow will absolutely be horrible. Sitting at work for 8 hours will be horrible.
Here's hoping a heating pad will do some wonders....?

Y3W| Faces of Paige
Warning: Picture heavy :)
It's a pizza-stache (thanks, Ruth)!
I disturbed reading time
Paige, show me your teeth!
Evil genius at work!
I didn't do anything!
It's our anniversary weekend - Monday makes two years of marriage for Marc and I. We've got tickets to an amusement park, a baby sitter for Paige, a baby shower on Sunday and a spa day for this mama on Monday :)
Hope everyone has a great weekend and join up for Jenni's Your 3 Words blog hop!

Y3W| Did you hear?
This lovely hurricane is predicted to hit us. I live in New Hampshire. First the earthquake, now a hurricane/tropical storm...there was a tornado in northern NH too. So, what's next? {I'll go with a blizzard next month}
I am scheduled to work on Sunday but am already preparing for a ridiculously dead day (no offense to my boss, if he's reading this). The husband and I are considering an adventure out to the beach tomorrow to check out the waves, just because how often do we get to see impressive waves like ones from a hurricane?
I was in a wedding last Friday and the bride & groom had a cruise throughout the Bahamas planned. Thankfully they're on land and doing well. And another friend has had to cancel her much planned, much anticipated vacation to OBX. {Sorry, Jenni!}
Stay safe, no matter where you are this weekend!!
