I missed Paige's singing today. I missed her first sentence of "It's not easy being green".
I hate being partially deaf only in my right ear. I can hear perfectly out of my left ear, but give me a little bit of background noise and a quiet toddler and I miss a sentence.
Thankfully, hubby caught it. In fact, he's the one who told me. And it sucked. It brought tears to my eyes. I've always said I'd never undergo surgery to fix anything cosmetically or "just because". My hearing would be an exception. To have heard Paige sing would have made my day. Been the perfect ending to this week. The perfect kick-off to a weekend off.
